Job Description

Job Summary:

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a House Supervisor, where you'll oversee the daily operations of our nursing facility to ensure high-quality care for our patients. This leadership role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and upholding compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates bring strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. This position is PRN and requires both day and night shift availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee patient care, maintaining timely and compassionate service.
  • Conduct rounds to monitor patient needs, conditions, and concerns.
  • Mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff to foster professional growth.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
  • Manage staffing levels and maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios.
  • Lead and respond to emergencies, providing clear direction to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison among nursing staff, management, and other departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

  • Optional:

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) experience in clinical settings.
  • Supervisory or management experience in healthcare facilities (e.g., nursing homes, hospitals).
  • Leadership in mentoring, coaching, and staff development.
  • Familiarity with nursing best practices, care standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology.
