Social Content Creator - Freelance Temp (NYC)
Length of Assignment: Ongoing booking as needed
Start Date: ASAP
Bill Rate: $28/hr - $34/hr
Work location: Remote, with required on-site availability in the New York area on July 12, 2025 and July 26, 2025.
We're looking for a highly creative and trend-savvy Social Content Creator to support key
campaigns and events on a project basis. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who
thrives in fast-paced environments and has a pulse on social trends, especially across
TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
What You'll Do:
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish engaging short-form video and photo content for
social media platforms
- Collaborate with creative, event, and marketing teams to bring campaign narratives
to life
- Support live event coverage and real-time content capture
- Stay current with platform trends and integrate relevant, on-brand content styles
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and visual identity
- Organize and manage content assets for cross-functional use
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience creating social content, preferably for a fashion, beauty, or
lifestyle brand
- Proficient in mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Express, etc.)
- Strong eye for visual storytelling and brand aesthetics
- Confident directing talent and capturing candid, in-the-moment footage
- Portfolio or reel required
Nice to Have:
- Experience with influencer collaborations or UGC
- Familiarity with content performance metric
