Job Description

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the processes and operations used to balance manufactured parts to customer specifications.

Come Build with Us by:

  • Receiving and evaluating customer design information, drawings, and data.
  • Independently performing dynamic balancing on aerospace parts in accordance with customer specifications and internal documentation.
  • Continuous efforts in identifying and implementing improvements to balance processes and tooling.
  • Development and direction of balance tooling design and fabrication.
  • Development and implementation of balance processes and balance correction algorithms, including 3 and 5-axis mill programming with CAD/CAM software.
  • Overseeing all machine capability and performance testing, including regular maintenance and calibration.
  • Serving as a technical partner to the responsible Product Development Manager/Engineer and machinists, offering balancing expertise to support production flow.
  • Accurately completing all quality and ERP system documentation.
  • Maintaining 5S practices in work area.
  • Performing other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 year technical or Computer Aided Design (CAD) degree or equivalent experience. Technical certification or coursework a plus.
  • Strong math and trigonometry skills. Familiarity with basic calculus is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with balance machines and CNC milling machines desired.
  • Mechanically inclined with an investigative mindset and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision.
  • Flexible, willing and able to assist with tasks across departments.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Good vision and ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when warranted.
