Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quantity and quality.
- Verify that all received items match the purchase orders and are free from damage.
- Document all received items in the inventory management system accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
- Organize and maintain the receiving area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to receiving activities and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth transfer of goods to appropriate storage areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
