International Advisor

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to expand your expertise in the international market? As an International Advisor at M3, you'll partner with the International Sales Director to place and service international policies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage quoting, placement, and renewal processes while developing strong partnerships with clients through your insurance knowledge and professional communication skills.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead service on assigned book(s) of business by managing internal resources with limited direction
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients on their insurance policy and coverage questions
• Manage renewal process, marketing, and new business placement for assigned clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and key international broker partners
• Provide expertise on international procedures as a go-to resource for the service team
• Serve as a key resource for global broker networks
• Partner with International Director on strategic planning for growth areas
• Ensure insurance placements comply with local regulations

What You Will Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of three years property and casualty insurance agency/company experience preferred
• Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits agent's license
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer orientation with ability to anticipate client needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with agency automation system (EPIC)
• Willingness to occasionally work outside core business hours for calls with foreign brokers
• Availability to travel to international conferences to meet with key brokers annually or bi-annually
