Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for unloading, moving, and storing a variety of materials, parts, and products. Fills orders from storage areas, warehouse stock, and delivers to designated departments.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills
High school diploma or GED. General knowledge in injection molding. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Valid TM assigned forklift license required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures that raw material needed for production is ready and available at all times.
- Assists in the change over process.
- Responsible for unloading, cleaning, and reloading of material hoppers.
- Responsible for transporting material to and from production area and warehouse.
- Ensure that grinders, color feeders, and other related equipment is cleaned.
- Maintain appropriate documentation relating to material system.
- Perform daily color checks and document in color LDR book
- Clean and maintain loader system vacuum pumps, filters and mixer rooms.
- Document PM's to equipment in Maximo
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Responsible for identifying and weighing raw materials.
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain 100% class room training as required
