Job Description

Resource Innovations is seeking Vendor Relationship Manager to join our growing team in Kansas City, MO. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vendor Relationship Manager with a strong background in outreach to join our dynamic team. Experience in Demand Response Programs and/or the residential thermostat industry is a plus. As a Vendor Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing trade allies and contractors capable of servicing and supporting the Demand Response programs in Kansas and Missouri. You will also lead the efforts to identify, engage and work with new and existing channels such as local retailers and HVAC contractors on ways to promote program enrollments through promotional events. Additionally, you will work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to identify opportunities to leverage any upcoming OEM promotions and will coordinate with the broader program team as it related to those partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support Program Manager on establishing and executing outreach initiatives
  • Develop, manage and strengthen channel marketing relationships with program partners (e.g., OEMs, Trade Allies, Retailers)
  • Prepare and conduct educational events for customers on DR programs (FAQs, what to expect, program materials)
  • Provide assistance to enrolled customers to drive DR event participation and increase year-over-year enrollments.
  • Represent program at promotional events
  • Deliver best-in-class customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
