Speech Language Pathologist

In this fulfilling role, you'll have the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and support children's speech and language development in a warm, nurturing environment.

You'll collaborate with families and other professionals to create a fun and effective learning experience for each child.

🎉As a Superstar team member, you will be part of the development team to create new speech therapy services for children. The development team is developing speech therapy services for adults which will be a new service. You will be apart of this process!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for each client
• Develop and implement tailored plan of care/treatment plans to address each client's specific needs
• Provide direct therapy services to clients and monitor their progress
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents and/or caregivers
• Document therapy sessions and each client's progress accurately in the electronic health records system
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech language pathology

Requirements

*Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

*In the process of obtaining a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology

or

Have a valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiner for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology

*Pass a criminal background check

*Excellent organizational skills

*Excellent communication skills
