Job Description

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a motivated and creative Landscape Designer with up to 3 years of experience to join our team in Abingdon, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent landscape architecture graduate to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally while working alongside a seasoned Senior Landscape Architect. You'll contribute to the planning and design of a wide variety of exciting projects, including commercial, institutional, residential, and mixed-use developments. At MRA, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that supports learning, skill development, and career advancement in the field of landscape architecture.

Landscape Designer Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Design detailed site plans, landscape plans and associated documents associated with irrigation, grading, drainage, sediment and erosion control and forest conservation regulations and design.
  • Prepare or assist in conceptual planning for new land development projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Up to 3 years of experience in landscape design
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills required
  • Fluency in Auto-CAD (Civil 3D) is required, as well as other design software such as Sketch-Up, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Power Point.
