Job Summary:
This position will manage daily business needs, including site merchandising execution, data analysis, and collaboration with the marketing, retail and merchandising teams to drive impact via improvements that grow our Omnichannel direct-to-consumer business. Utilizing research and analytics, this role will drive recommendations and decision-making to bring our brand and product to life on La-Z-Boy.com while ensuring operational accuracy for a seamless customer experience.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
- Manage search & product discovery platform to deliver clear and helpful online-to-offline product research journey which includes merchandising the site by managing product categorization, item ranking, and visual layout throughout the shopping funnel.
- Analyze key performance metrics, consumer behavior, and site metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner on Integrated Marketing calendar to action promotional and brand activations to extend consumer marketing and retail plans.
- Plan and execute new product launches, stores, and features.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brief in new PLP and PDP experiences, provide input on design and messaging, and iterate on creative direction to ensure alignment with brand standards and business goals
- Monitor product and category performance, providing reports and insights to cross-functional team while prioritizing related actions to enhance PLP and PDP experiences.
- Collaborate with Retail (Furniture Galleries) teams to confirm product presentation and accurately reflect local store assortment(s).
SCOPE & IMPACT:
This role will be a key partner to our marketing and merchandising teams, serving as the day-to-day manager of the Search & Product Discovery tool and will be responsible for optimizing its performance. It will also be a key driver of the platform's impact, contributing to conversion rate improvements and increased direct-to-consumer revenue.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Visual Design, Business Management, or a related field with 2-4 years of work experience or equivalent
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in eCommerce Merchandising experience
