IBS Enterprise COMSEC Responsible Officer / KMI Account Manager

The Opportunity:

As the Enterprise Integrated Broadcast System (IBS) COMSEC Responsible Officer and KMI Operating Account Manager you will be responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of COMSEC materials and equipment as well as management of Key Management Infrastructure operating accounts in supporting dissemination of actionable perishable intelligence and operational data to support global national security operations among multiple agencies, producers, and combatant commands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the COMSEC processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all COMSEC operations and services in IBS Enterprise Operations
  • Coordinate the work of COMSEC/KMI personnel
  • Providing technical advice and assistance for implementing the COMSEC program for Partner Nations (PNs)
  • Ensures compliance with COMSEC policies and procedures across the team
  • Reviews and approves COMSEC-related documentation and reports
  • Liaises with GIBSSC Director and external agencies on COMSEC matters
  • Assists in budget planning and resource allocation for COMSEC operations
  • Contributes to the development and update of COMSEC policies and procedures
  • Oversees inventory management of COMSEC equipment and materials
  • Ensures proper handling and storage of classified COMSEC information
  • Ensures availability/currency of keys needed to maintain GIBSSC operations
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
  • Undergoes agency COMSEC Account audits with successful outcomes

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 7 years of direct IBS experience in lieu of education
  • Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise
  • 10 years' experience working with OCONUS networks serving international customers from multiple agencies, including COMSEC equipment and materials
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desired:

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$72,700 - $149,200
