Job Description

Sable Corporation is looking for a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing respiratory care for patients with breathing difficulties. You will apply your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and equipment to improve patient respiratory function. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you will develop and execute personalized care plans for patients of all ages. Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients’ respiratory status and needs through diagnostic tests and clinical observations.
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation support.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and the proper use of respiratory equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of patient care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as necessary.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of current respiratory care practices, protocols, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
