Job Description
- This position is eligible for a $500 signing bonus (For CMA/RMA)*

Workflow Transformation and Optimization
- Provide guidance on clinical workflow transformation and change management for EHR system implementation and optimization.
- Identify information gaps in existing clinical processes and develop strategies to address them in collaboration with Director of Clinical Training & Development and Clinical Staff Training Coordinators.
- Collaborate with clinical sites and Clinical Staff Training Coordinators to assess non-standard or non-compliant workflows and recommend corrective actions.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments of current system issues and proposes workflow adjustments to align with best practices.
Adoption and Training
- Guide clinical sites through adoption and evaluation of EHR functionality to support practice standards and enhance patient care.
- Deliver ongoing training for new EHR features and application upgrades to frontline staff, ensuring they are equipped to maximize system capabilities.
- Collaborate with site leadership, the clinical training team and the EHR team to enhance training experiences and drive adoption strategies.
Collaboration and Relationship Management
- Partner with clinical leadership, clinical training team and site teams to design and implement optimization strategies to achieve desired outcomes. Maintain positive working relationships with end users, promoting optimal utilization of clinical applications. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT/EHR teams to resolve system-related challenges.
Support and Problem-Solving
- Assess and address system issues, ensuring EHR functionality supports organizational goals and patient outcomes. Leverage critical thinking and decisive judgment to troubleshoot challenges and implement practical solutions with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a dynamic and occasionally stressful environment, maintaining focus on achieving organizational objectives.

- Assists with patient processing/care delivery as able.

REQUIRED JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate's degree in healthcare or a related field (or equivalent experience) Two years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Licensure: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA), if applicable. Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan, if applicable. (Depending on candidates educational background).
- Experience: Experience in clinical workflows, EHR system implementation, and optimization is required. Prior experience within an FQHC or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to identify information gaps and compliance issues. Proficient in EHR systems, including training and optimization. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on critical thinking and decisive judgment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to adapt to stressful and dynamic conditions while maintaining professionalism.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams. Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs effectively.
- Physical Effort: Must be able to sit, stand, and or walk for an entire workday. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and or twist while holding up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Hours of Work: Full-time. Flexible and varied. Some evenings/weekends may be required. Hybrid schedule available at manager's discretion and dependent on organization and or department needs.
- Travel: Local travel between GLBHC sites. Reimbursement in accordance with GLBHC travel policy.
