Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Senior Account Manager to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA!
The Employee Benefits Senior Account Manager is primarily responsible for assistance with service responses to clients, reporting, data analytics, marketing, cost analysis, communication materials and compliance. Works closely with all department teammates to ensure presentation materials, day to day service needs and quoting for new prospects
How You Will Contribute
- Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages. Above average skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents
- Must be responsive to all emails. All emails should be responded to within 24 hours of receipt.
- Drafting and constructing presentations, spreadsheets, binders as well as various Reports and Analysis as assigned accordingly
- Promote teamwork, positive attitude, and commitment to department/agency goals.
- Strategically manage and maintain client accounts ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Apply critical thinking and strategic foresight to cost analysis to recommend strategies to the Producer and clients.
- Analyze and suggest strategies based upon data sets such as claims, market trends, benchmarks and compliance requirements.
- Lead off renewal cycle quarterly plan management meetings with clients ensuring compliance, value adds, and other strategic initiatives are completed to the client's satisfaction.
- Create, refine, and deliver professional presentations, spreadsheets, and reports for clients and internal use.
- Collaborate with Producers to develop and finalize marketing materials, RFPs, and new business opportunities.
- Exercise independent judgment in determining client-specific solutions, including but not limited to, plan designs, contribution strategies, technology, and value adds.
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate carrier proposals and quotes to align with client needs and organizational goals.
- Lead projects to improve operational efficiency within the department, including process automation and team training.
- Obtain full working knowledge of Agency Management System, office process and procedural requirements as well as Producer and Carrier commission structures to provide oversight to supporting data entry roles.
- Peer review and sign off on assigned client deliverables.
- Follow-up, receive, review and negotiate quotes received from carriers.
- Maintain effective information management between producer, carriers, Assistant Account Managers, and other supporting department roles.
- Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures and provide guidance and training on established procedures and agency management systems to support department roles.
- Serve as a point of escalation for all service issues.
- Other duties as assigned by EB Team leader.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Life and Health Licensed
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
