POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to collaborate with Routine Maintenance, Construction, Reliability, Engineering, Accounting, and other refining personnel to maintain and develop our digital tools used to facilitate maintenance and cost control processes. Responsibilities include acting as SAP coordinator, data management, data analytics, and report creation and review.
This position will be based in Marathon Petroleum's Catlettsburg Refinery in Catlettsburg, KY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the site subject matter expert as SAP coordinator for the refinery
Assist SAP users with access and role assignment
Act as refinery liaison to IT for on-site SAP issues and improvement ideas
Understand maintenance work process and how it integrates with SAP and relevant SAP transactions
Conduct training for new employees on SAP functionality or refresher training as needed
Support testing of changes or enhancements during system integration testing for refinery data systems
Act as site lead for new software and digital system roll out to the refinery across departments
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and communicate those efforts to the refinery users
Work with reliability, routine maintenance, and construction to create reports or dashboards in excel and PowerBI
Review data integrity in SAP and update metadata as needed to improve and manage data structures
Analyze failure data and work order history to identify trends, bad actors, and opportunities for operational efficiency
Assist in managing asset information and data to ensure equipment history and records are accurate and complete
Assist in managing and administering other data systems used in the refining organization such as GE APM, PM deferrals, PM Change, iTAR, iCon
Complete weekly and monthly reports which may include compiling the upcoming PM forecast, RREV compliance, and other maintenance KPI's as needed
Function as the backup maintenance scheduler
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum (Required) Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
A valid driver's license is required
Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree and/or Bachelor's degree in engineering
Five plus years of relevant work experience
Software experience; SAP, GE Meridium (APM) V4 experience, Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerBI)
