Business Loan Admin I - Bismarck/Mandan, ND

BNC National bank is searching for an Entry-Level Business Loan Administrator I to join our Commercial Lending Team in Bismarck/Mandan. As part of our Commercial Lending Team, you will assist with the servicing of our existing business loan portfolio. You will work closely with our Business Loan Administrators in the commercial loan administration process.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to Business Loan Administrators with the daily tasks and ongoing administration of the commercial loan portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to handling loan advance and payment requests, working daily reports, imaging documentation and information to the loan files, and maintaining the loan tickler system, which will include preparing letters to customers, working with insurance representatives, review and completion of checklists relating to loan requests, and other duties as assigned. Assist Department Manager with miscellaneous projects as assigned.

  • Effectively communicate with customers, accounting firms, participant banks, and other departments within BNC National Bank, as necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable bank policies, procedures and regulatory statutes;
  • Follow policies and procedures; complete clerical tasks correctly and on time; support the Bank's goals and values; benefit the bank through outside activities;
  • Input and retrieve data on the computer programs Xperience and LoanVantage.
  • Calculate loan payoff amounts; receive, review and submit loan payments and advances; pay bills relating to loans and maintain loan fee ledger.
  • Complete requests for information relating to file documentation and loan requirements. This is to include: lien searches, flood certifications, real estate appraisal engagement letters, and other file documentation as required. Maintain and update UCC-1 Financing Statements.
  • Administer the existing commercial loan portfolio by contacting Borrowers to request missing customer financial information or documents.
  • Monitor tickler reports and follow up on exceptions.
  • Review daily insurance report and work with insurance representatives to ensure proper insurance is received and maintained.
  • Type routine letters; complete necessary forms for file maintenance and data changes; prepare denial and withdrawn loan notices.

Hourly Wage:

  • Starting at $20.00/hr. depending on experience

Schedule:

  • FT, M-F, 8am - 5pm
  • Alternating between Bismarck Downtown Branch and Mandan Branch

Business Loan Admin I Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Knowledge of depository products and treasury/cash management services.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant work experience in lieu of education requirements may be accepted.
