Job Description
TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Operator I to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Job Summary:Under direct supervision, uses visual aids and verbal or written instructions to perform simple and repetitive assembly or testing of assemblies or sub-assemblies. Operates manual or automated equipment to test or assemble product.This position is Monay-Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Hand, automated, or mechanical assembly or testing of products to meet or exceed established quality standardsAssembles products based on the documentation or instructions provided.Operates equipment such as the Hot plate welder, Ultrasonic welder, Computer Automated Tag Testing Systems using very simple computer software programs.Provides accurate data and/or information either electronically or handwritten as requested.General housekeeping of the workspace at the end of shift.Other operations may be required by management to meet production needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year related experienceMust have good math skillsMust be detail oriented and conscientious.

Basic computer skills
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
