Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Ritter has satellite offices in New York, Nebraska, Idaho, Arizona, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and Ohio. More than 280 full-time Ritter employees support the business of over 15,000 independent insurance agents in all 50 states. Job Summary
Responsible for developing and maintaining agent relationships, while providing superior service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Initiate agent relationships.
Target agent recruitment meetings.
Attend sales events, trade shows and road shows to initiate relationships.
Work all new leads as received.
Working knowledge of Ritter and Integrity technology.
Follow sales department processes for timely lead response and follow-ups.
Assists Agents with carrier contract needs.
Completes weekly sales outreaches to meet individual and department goals.
Works collaboratively with peers and leadership to identify opportunities within assigned markets.
Develops a working knowledge of all products in the region.
Establishes strong business relationships with Agents to help them achieve their goals and build year over year growth.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of insurance and agent relationship, preferred.
Basic knowledge of general Sales and Marketing.
Good communication skills, especially over the phone.
Good computer and typing skills.
Good customer service skills.
Soft sales skills.
Travel required, up to 20%.
