Chief Industries, Inc Careers - Quality Assurance Manager

Chief Buildings is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join the Chief team. This individual manages Chief Buildings Quality Control program and Quality Management System for manufacturing; supervises quality control, receiving & scheduling personnel; works with production supervisors and management to establish and maintain quality control policies, procedures and programs; inspects all phases of receiving and production for quality assurance; certifies audits and maintains welding procedures and welders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises quality control, receiving and schedules staff.
• Oversees the documentation, removal and sale of scrap and surplus material.
• Assists production management in identifying and correcting quality process related problems.
• Upholds communications with the department supervisors, purchasing and management about inbound material. Inventory and quality concerns.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Quality Assurance experience preferred.
• Understanding of audit processes both internally and externally.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Nondestructive Testing experience preferred.
• CWI Preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am - 4:30pm
