Job Description

Senior Compensation Partner

As a Senior Compensation Partner, you will be a part of our growing Total Rewards team focused on partnering with HR team members & business leaders and analytical work that supports our compensation programs. The role is crucial to supporting the organization to understand our people through data and ensuring that our organization offers compensation programs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including recruiting, HRBPs & Business Leaders, as a compensation subject matter expert - including job evaluations and compensation recommendations for job changes and adjustments. Serve as a trusted advisor to Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, Recruiters and HR partners.
  • Compensation Analytics: Derive insights from analysis and models that drive action and decision making. Make recommendations to HR and Business Leadership based on those insights.
  • Analyze data from internal and external data sources to understand the efficacy of Redwood Materials Compensation Programs.
  • Sift through data to identify trends and recommend changes to the compensation program based on those trends.
  • Build models to understand the financial impact of compensation programs.
  • Support the administration of our annual programs including merit and equity refresh awards.
  • Create excel based workbooks for leaders to plan compensation awards and adjustments.
  • Create summaries in partnership with the Director, Total Rewards to get approval from Senior Leadership.
  • Participate in compensation surveys.
  • Ad Hoc Compensation analysis as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation roles.
  • Experience with a start-up or high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Expert with excel and HRIS systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in benefits programs.
