Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining an accurate plan of the mine as a whole and will update maps of the surface layout to account for new structures

Job Statement

We are now seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our professional Mining team at our new underground Ulysses mine near Leonora, WA. Reporting to the Alt Underground Manager, this is a permanent FIFO role on a balanced 8 days on, 6 days off roster cycle, flying on company time to and from Perth. You also have the option to Drive-In Drive-Out from Kalgoorlie.

Our Underground Surveyor is an important member of our Mining team and the successful candidate will maintain survey control over the development and stoping activities of the Ulysses mine.

The Opportunity:

• Conducting survey pickups, CMS and scans for the development of as-built data for development, production advance, and reported volumes;
• Completing high order survey control set outs for production drills, raise bores, and jumbo development to minimise over break;
• Maintaining the upkeep of survey equipment and survey processes for reporting, logging, and archiving of survey data;
• Installing survey control stations to industry best practice methods, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements; and
• Producing survey plans for mining and safety activities.

We're excited to hear from you if you have:

• Diploma in Mine Surveying (minimum) or equivalent;
• Underground mine survey experience.
• Have strong computer skills with competency in the programs Deswik CAD and Pix4D;
• Experience in the safe use of Optec V400 CMS; or similar
• Familiarity with the use of Leica TS15, MS60 Total Stations; or smiilar
• Familiarity with the use of Leica GPS GS16; or similar
