Job Description
Job Summary Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance. Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to ensure employer property such as buildings and grounds are well maintained. Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to address issues. Develop and enforce maintenance schedules among maintenance staff. Respond to emergency maintenance calls. Manage the setup and takedown of various events. Perform troubleshooting to resolve minor repair issues. Communicate plans for upper-level improvements to the maintenance team. Contact and schedule repair personnel and additional help as needed. Perform administrative tasks as required. Job Function Routine Maintenance: Perform inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on industrial machinery and equipment. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Preventive Maintenance: Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Safety: Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed. Collaboration: Work with other teams, such as engineering and operations, to identify and implement solutions for improvement. Installation: Install, dismantle, and reassemble machinery and equipment. Calibration and Testing: Adjust and calibrate equipment, and perform tests to ensure proper functioning. Documentation: Prepare detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics and records of preventative maintenance activities. Material Management: Maintain inventory of parts and supplies. Training: May train production workers on routine preventative maintenance. Required Skills Steel Processing Experience a plus. Ability to troubleshoot. Knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained. Knowledge of maintenance procedures. Knowledge of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical, roofing, pool). Ability to lift heavy loads, physical agility, manual dexterity. Management experience is preferred, Experience in maintenance is required. High school diploma or GED required 3+ year's relevant experience in maintenance Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities Makes safety a priority at all times Strong computer skills and a solid understanding of data analysis software'
