Summary:

Process metal parts through chemical baths to obtain desired treatment.

Job Functions:

• Supervise loading the parts into baskets with correct orientation to minimize drag-out.
• Process parts through sequence of proper treatment baths for the required exposure time.
• Rinse as required to achieve the removal of the bath material.
• Supervise the unloading, blowing off and inspection of parts.
• Make chemical additions as directed to the process tanks.
• Move materials and perform housekeeping as required.

Skills:

• Ability to visually recognize correct treatment results
• Read and comprehend work instructions.
• Must be able to understand the English language
• Move or lift heavy objects.
• Keep work area safe, organized and clean.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma
• One year chemical treatment processing.

Physical Demands

• Lifts and moves 30 lbs. on a repetitive basis without assistance.
• Must be able to stand on a continual basis for duration of shift.
• Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs.
• Must be able to Sit, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
