Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Civil Designer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our growing team. This role will support civil engineering projects from concept to completion, including site development, roadway design, stormwater management, grading and drainage, and utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in civil engineering design, including site plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
  • Prepare technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
  • Conduct stormwater modeling and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform field investigations, site visits, and data collection.
  • Support project managers with cost estimates, reports, and permitting documents.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and environmental specialists.
  • Ensure designs meet federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, MIDS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of performing duties with limited supervision to meet deadlines.
