This Systems Operations Engineer will provide support and will optimize enterprise collaboration platforms, with a focus on Microsoft 365 (M365), MS Teams, and SharePoint Online.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide operational support and incident resolution for Microsoft 365 services, including MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related tools

  • Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to enterprise collaboration systems and infrastructure

  • Monitor system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and user experience

  • Analyze technical queries and service requests, extract relevant data, and create reports or dashboards to support decision-making

  • Recommend solutions for recurring technical issues and contribute to root cause analysis efforts

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards

  • Act as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for M365 tools and best practices

  • Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles for internal use

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, specifically MS Teams and SharePoint Online

  • 2+ years of experience with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL practices

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
