The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. ARC adult counselors may be assigned to support MFLC services in a variety of military community and readiness centers, as well as on-demand and surge assignments. Job Summary The LATE-TBI Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with expertise in computational neuroscience or biomedical data science. The lab investigates the short- and long-term effects of traumatic brain injury, including concussion and blast exposures, with a focus on conditions such as chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Qualifications Postdoctoral Research Fellow - LATE-TBI Lab, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Overview: The Long-term Assessment and Treatment Exploration for TBI (LATE-TBI) Lab, directed by Daniel Daneshvar, MD, PhD, at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow with expertise in computational neuroscience, biomedical data science, or related disciplines. The lab studies the acute and chronic effects of traumatic brain injury, including concussion and blast-related exposures among military service members. Research includes the identification of novel biomarkers for concussion diagnosis, the investigation of long-term neurodegenerative outcomes such as chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and improving HealthSpan through enhanced recovery and therapeutic strategies. We are seeking a Senior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Analyst to support the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DEC). This position will review all FMS cases within respective country portfolio for accuracy, appropriateness of sale, level of disclosure, and long-term supportability.
