The Critical Operations Technician I is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building. The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break. With minimal guidance and oversight, provides the full breadth of Adult or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. Provides clinical oversight to nursing personnel providing nursing services to all patients coming for treatment and/or appropriate referral from other clinics. Administer medication and medical treatment in accordance with policies and physician’s orders. Provides psychiatric nursing interventions and treatment education, provide intervention appropriate to the specific treatmentneeds of the patient. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, and assure that relevant nursing documentation is completed in a timely manner. Supervises special treatment interventions such as de-escalation, physical restraint, seclusion. Provides supervision and quality assurance checks to assure patient supervision, environmental safety, therapeutic structure, facilitation of patient groups and activities of daily living, and delivery of quality patient care by direct care workers. Provide timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of patient behavior, medication administration, medical interventions, treatment planning, and treatment interventions. Documentation reflects professional standards. Knowledge of psychiatric nursing skills, ability to assess patient physical and emotional status. Knowledge of seclusion and restraint protocols, national patient safety standards, age specific competencies, pain management, and standards established by the Texas Board of Nursing. Accurately conveys patient behavior and status verbally and in writing. Professional verbal and written skills for communicating patient status, and treatment needs to clients, families, professionals, and employees of the facility. Able to verbally adapt spoken communication to meet needs of patient. Proficiency in facilitating medication education groups, and training/assisting ADLs. Proficiency with training and oversight of vital signs checks. Able to safely de-escalate and manage aggressive patients, to oversee seclusion and physical restraint of patients per policy. Able to handle multiple projects under deadlines with short notice. Maintains professional therapeutic relationships with staff, patients, families and visitors. Able to maintain patient confidentiality. Able to provide leadership and supervision of direct care staff, to delegate responsibilities, make shift assignments, and monitor performance. Requirements Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school for Registered Nurse program. Licensure/Certification: Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure. Experience: Preferred Veteran and/or Experience with Military Patients Prefer 2+ years work experience in a behavioral health setting, hospital, nursing home. The Senior Military Financial Analyst will support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (OUSD P&R) by performing a variety of analytical, financial, and administrative project tasks. This job is central to the Resource and Program Integration team and is responsible for providing financial analysis and audit support in support of OUSD(P&R) strategic priorities.  This position is located onsite in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon.  Responsibilities: Provide detailed financial analysis and budgeting support to OUSD(P&R) leadership Provide analysis of prior year expenditures to include liquidated and unliquidated obligations; provide troubleshooting to clear outstanding balances Support audit functions through analysis of transactions, determination of MIPR status, de-obligation of funds, and identification and storage of supporting documentation Provide analysis and reporting on current year expenditures to include unsubmitted vouchers and travel claims Utilize CATMS to process taskers and action items specific the P&R Finance portfolio Work to support the improvement of OUSD(P&R) and subordinate components’ financial reporting processes; monitor financial reporting controls and validate corrective actions; communicate and coordinate change management Provide support to DoD’s annual audits including the annual Statement of Assurance (SoA, formerly known as Mangers Internal Control Program), the Military Retirement Fund (MRF), and other audit related actions Support in the preparation of the Annual SoA regarding the effectiveness of internal controls as they relate to the OUSD(P&R) as a whole Support senior leadership in the development of strategies and plans to overcome material weaknesses identified in DoD internal and external audits; help identify and recommend new business processes or controls needed to achieve financial statement assertions Monitor financial reporting controls and validate the corrective actions of the organization Assist in the preparation and coordination of OUSD(P&R) response to findings and recommendations related to the MRF and support leadership participation in MRF related meetings and activities  Support Government staff in the preparation, review, and coordination of documents associated with the management of the MRF Maintain data in an electronic format available for analysis and reporting Qualifications:  Must be a United States Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field Master’s degree preferred A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience A minimum of 3 years of DoD/Military Accounting and Finance experience Experience supporting the Department of Defense (OUSD preferred) in a financial analyst capacity Experience with standard MS Office suite products to include Excel and Pivot tables Experience with Federal ERP (DAI, GFEBS, or similar) Ability to work responsibly and independently with minimal direct supervision Demonstrated skills to perform all required duties Preferred Qualifications: SharePoint experience CATMS experience Familiarity with ADVANA Familiarity with Military Retirement Fund and Statement of Assurance Experience as a DoD comptroller CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees.
