This position is supporting the Child & Youth associated with NAS Patuxent River in Maryland; candidate must be local to the installation or willing to relocate to become local. Candidates must be licensed at the independent practice level as a Social Worker (LCSW-C), Therapist (LCMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LCPC), or Psychologist. This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations to include civilian expeditionary work force and their families (when activated). These services may include non-medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child development centers, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB counselors will be assigned to child development centers, youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation. Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated. CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of Child Development Centers (CDC), youth programs and summer camps (if available/assigned) as well as providing parent support, training, and guidance. Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities focused on children and youth. Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application to assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service/family member. Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources focused on children and youth and provides appropriate linkages. Consistently visible within the assigned location(s) which allows MFLC services to be accessible. When working with children, counselor must abide by line-of-sight protocol. (Another adult with responsibility for the child must be able to see the counselor and child they are working with at all times.) Partners with POC to provide CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an effective and professional working relationship with the installation/facility POC. Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director. Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participates in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which the counselor is assigned. Responds to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) program manager. The CYB will flex schedule to respond to urgent requests as needed or at the request of the Regional Supervisor/Regional Director. Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees, initiatives, studies, pilot programs other contract activities as assigned/appropriate as directed by the customer and/or Magellan. This includes participation in pilot program certification and training processes, completion of activity documentation, integration of pilot activities in non-medical counseling work, and the utilization of applicable technology to complete required activities. In this position you will work in a Child Development Center and School Age Center at Fort Bragg. This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations to include civilian expeditionary work force and their families (when activated). These services may include non-medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child development centers, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB counselors will be assigned to child development centers, youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation. Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated. The PT and OT Aide assists the Physical and Occupational Therapists to prepare the environment and the patient for routine care and assists the patient with routine activities of daily living as determined in treatment plan. All activities are performed under the direct supervision of a licensed OTR, PT, COTA, or PTA. This hands-on role contributes to the improvement of patient experience through rehabilitation services. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Lead coordination with AVCOE Directorates, Brigade Commanders, ACMs, and Program Managers (PMs) to synchronize and maintain the Aviation Enterprise Common Operating Picture. Develop and deliver senior-level (2–4 Star) briefings, speeches, and articles on Army Aviation operations, training, doctrine, and program management within TRADOC, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. Author speeches, official remarks, and strategic communications for Army executives, including congressional testimony and high-visibility publications. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on Army Aviation strategy, modernization initiatives, and doctrinal evolution to inform leadership decisions. Prepare high-quality, time-sensitive deliverables including executive summaries, information papers, and decision briefs for senior leaders. Represent AVCOE G5 in senior forums such as the General Officer Steering Committee, Councils of Colonels, Aviation Senior Leader Forums, and Army Aviation Synchronization Meetings. Provide expert recommendations to inform DOTMLPF-P assessments, capability development, and enterprise-wide planning efforts. Interface with senior leaders across HQDA, TRADOC, FORSCOM, AMCOM, AMC, PEO Aviation, CDID, USASOAC, and TAPO, ensuring enterprise-wide integration and synchronization. Oversee and mentor mid-level analysts and junior staff, providing guidance on task execution, deliverable quality, and client engagement. Lead cross-enterprise planning and synchronization efforts involving Army Staff, AMCOM, PEO Aviation, USASOAC, and CDID. Engage with Program Executive Officers (PEOs) to influence fielding plans, training development, life-cycle sustainment, and resource prioritization via PPBES, POMs, and UFRs. Ensure AVCOE G5 participation in high-priority operational and planning events, integrating outputs into enterprise strategies and initiatives. Establish and enforce a Quality Control Program (QCP) for all G5 deliverables. Track and report program and financial management activities in Monthly Status Reports. Required Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience): BA/BS degree required. Minimum of 15 years of aviation experience, including senior planning and operational synchronization at the enterprise level. Must have served in the Aviation Branch (Rotary or Fixed Wing) of the Active Army as a Commissioned Officer, or as a Senior Warrant Officer with relevant education and experience. Applicants without military aviation experience (e.g., civilians or most NCOs) will generally not be considered, but may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if their background strongly aligns with the role. Extensive Army and Aviation experience, with proven success in strategic-level planning, decision support, and executive engagement. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-visibility briefings, speeches, and written communications for 2–4 Star leaders. Deep understanding of Army Aviation combat operations, doctrinal application across operational echelons, and enemy tactics/capabilities. Mastery of DOTMLPF-P assessment processes, capability development cycles, and Aviation Transformation initiatives. Proven track record of leading multi-stakeholder integration and synchronization efforts across the Army Aviation Enterprise. Expert research, writing, and communication skills for executive audiences. Ability to manage high-priority, short-turn deliverables with speed and precision. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to mentor and lead teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Preferred Qualifications: MA/MS degree strongly preferred. PMP certification preferred. Previous service on AVCOE Staff strongly preferred. Experience serving on the Army or Joint Staff. Position Summary

Equinix Emerging Talent, Military Program providing service members with transition assistance to the civilian workforce. This is part of the DoD SkillBridge Program, offering transitioning service members hands-on experience in Equinix's data center operations. Interns will support routine and semi-routine tasks related to customer installations, infrastructure maintenance, and service delivery within the IBX (International Business Exchange) data centers.

Key Responsibilities

Ticketing & Troubleshooting

  • Manage and resolve customer support requests and service tickets
  • Accurately track tasks using the ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot network and equipment issues; escalate when necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges

Hardware Installations

  • Perform "rack and stack" installations of customer equipment
  • Follow detailed installation plans and wiring diagrams
  • Install structured cabling (fiber and copper), cable trays, cages, and cabinets
  • Identify and report infrastructure capacity or cabling concerns

Testing & Quality Checks

  • Conduct layer 1-3 connectivity tests (e.g., network cables, fiber optics)
  • Perform quality checks on own and team installations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed

Customer Interaction

  • Provide professional, helpful on-site customer support
  • Communicate clear timelines and progress updates
  • Escort customers and vendors for access and safety compliance

Team & Project Support

  • Contribute to team projects and installations
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely execution
  • Support dispatching, inventory checks, and alarm escalations as needed

Learning Objectives

  • Deepen technical expertise in data center infrastructure and operations

Qualifications

  • Active-duty military member or Military Spouse approved for SkillBridge or MSCAP participation
  • Technical or Non-Technical MOS, NEC, or AFSC
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in technical support, IT, telecom, or data center operations
  • Ability to read wiring schematics and installation plans
  • Experience with fiber and coaxial terminations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment

Training & Evaluation

  • Interns will follow a customized Education/Training Plan
  • Monthly evaluations will be conducted by the supervisor
  • Final evaluation will assess learning outcomes and program effectiveness
