Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Build impactful relationships with clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership. Cultivate expertise in and impart specialized knowledge congruent with firm niches, initiatives and needs. Preparing and reviewing depletion schedules for tax returns with oil and gas activity, reporting income and expenses on a per property schedule. Advising clients on oil & gas tax specific tax consulting: selling leases, acquisitions, depletion, intangible drilling costs, etc. Take responsibility for accurate time and billing for self and team. Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines. Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client/potential client seminars to expand networking opportunities. Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements. Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services. Hold self and direct reports responsible for achieving developmental goals Mentor and coach junior team members. Professional Development: Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/oil & gas industry mix CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required Relevant experience in oil and gas industry specifically tax compliance and consulting Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field Experience using CCH Axcess tax software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large sets of data EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer. As a Take 5 crew member, your job will be to: Drain motor oil, change oil filter Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure Inspect and top off fluids Perform coolant exchanges Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor Maintain cleanliness of work environment Provide excellent customer service All our crew members need to meet the following requirements: Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position yourself safely under cars Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop #LI-DNI #DBHVOL
