Our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Program offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field while honing your clinical skills in advanced psychiatric treatments. We aim to hire two APPs per year one around May 1 and the second around November 1. Our 12-month program aims to provide early career PMHNPs and PAs the opportunity to learn from and practice alongside our outstanding faculty who have spent decades training our medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows. Our training is geared towards preparing our fellows to become clinicians who provide excellent evidence-based psychiatric care in various clinical settings - from community-based care to the academic university setting. The program provides some of the same didactic experiences to the APP fellows as our physician trainees receive. In addition, our APP fellows benefit from additional didactic experiences that are geared to meet the different needs of APPs. Approximately 25% of a fellow's time is spent on educational activities with the other 75% in providing care.
