Position Summary The Cruchaga Lab at WashU Medicine is recruiting multiple Postdoctoral Research Associates. The NeuroGenomics and Informatics Center generates and analyzes Whole-Genome Sequencing data and high-throughput, multi-dimensional -omic data to study neurodegeneration and diseases of the central nervous system, with an emphasis on Alzheimer disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other dementias. The ultimate goal of the NGI is to understand the biology of these diseases, to define novel biomarkers, and to identify novel therapeutic targets. WashU Medicine is renowned for its research cohorts of neurodegenerative disorders, which include clinical, neuroimaging, and fluid biomarker phenotypes. Characterization of the genetic topography of Alzheimer's disease (AD) provides a unique opportunity to understand the disease. We are looking for investigators with expertise in Whole Genome and Exome data, colocalization, Mendelian Randomization, and TWAS/Fusion approaches to lead our effort to identify new genes involved in AD etiology. The Center for Suicide Research and Prevention at MGB/Harvard is seeking applications for a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to coordinate and administer NIMH-funded projects (led by PIs Drs. Kate Bentley, Rebecca Fortgang, and Matthew Nock) aimed at better understanding short-term suicide risk and testing innovative new interventions to prevent suicidal behavior. The target population is adults leaving inpatient hospitalization for suicide risk. This position is particularly well-suited for anyone interested in pursuing graduate study in the fields of psychology, public health, or medicine. The CRCs will be assisting with many aspects of the day-to-day execution of the projects, including study start-up, participant recruitment and screening, organization of study measures and protocols, organization of regulatory logs, purchasing of study supplies, coordinating study documentation, assisting with IRB/sIRB correspondence, and other project-related administrative tasks. The CRCs may also work with collaborating teams to update and refine intervention content, as well as internally piloting the technology-assisted interventions, and data monitoring, as directed by Dr. Bentley. The CRCs may also assist with summarizing and coding qualitative and EHR data from participants. Experience working with clinically severe/suicidal patients and strong interpersonal skills are strongly preferred. Writing, computer skills (e.g., proficiency with ecological momentary assessment and/or statistical software), and supervisory experience are highly desirable. Position Summary

The Cruchaga Lab at WashU Medicine is recruiting multiple Postdoctoral Research Associates. The NeuroGenomics and Informatics Center generates and analyzes Whole-Genome Sequencing data and high-throughput, multi-dimensional -omic data to study neurodegeneration and diseases of the central nervous system, with an emphasis on Alzheimer disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other dementias. The ultimate goal of the NGI is to understand the biology of these diseases, to define novel biomarkers, and to identify novel therapeutic targets. WashU Medicine is renowned for its research cohorts of neurodegenerative disorders, which include clinical, neuroimaging, and fluid biomarker phenotypes.

Characterization of the genetic topography of Alzheimer's disease (AD) provides a unique opportunity to understand the disease. We are looking for investigators with expertise in Whole Genome and Exome data, colocalization, Mendelian Randomization, and TWAS/Fusion approaches to lead our effort to identify new genes involved in AD etiology.
