Our Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is seeking an additional Geriatric Psychiatrist to practice in Morgantown, WV. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or international equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Successful candidates must be board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of geriatric psychiatry. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) has prioritized geriatric behavioral health as a key organizational mission area. Our Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is seeking an additional Geriatric Psychiatrist to practice in Morgantown, WV. 

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or international equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatry residency program and geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Successful candidates must be board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. 

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of geriatric psychiatry. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions ranging from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s; autism to stroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumatic brain injury.
