Clinical Psychologist - Outpatient Psychiatry This is a full-time benefitted position based within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position offers the opportunity for academic appointment to the Medical School commensurate with experience, as well as academic engagement including teaching, research, and potential for supervising psychology/medical learners. The pursuit of research and/or program development is encouraged. Duties include: Conducting diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based assessment for adult outpatient population Providing individual and group psychotherapy using focused, evidence-based models of care Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide high-quality mental health care. Maintaining documentation of patient care in accordance with professional standards and following all specified departmental policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations Supervision of trainees (psychiatry residents, psychology interns, etc.) There is an expectation that psychologists receiving an academic appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences will provide academic service outside of their other job duties.
