The shifts will/could be on the following services: EmPath (Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing) at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. Emergency Consult at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. Inpatient Adult Psychiatry at University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. Consult Liaison Service at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. In This Role, You Will: Join a team of multidisciplinary mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, and psychiatric nurses in caring for patients with acute mental health issues. Determine the best level of care for patients, provide acute treatment for occurring crisis and assist with discharge planning when needed. Work closely with ED providers in supporting the mental health patients in the ED. Provide consultative support to the medical patients on-site and other facilities via telemedicine.
