PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner and meets the restaurant's quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. Assist in the preparation and portioning of ingredients for use in cooking. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and mixers safely and efficiently. Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager or supervisor. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment. The temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public is outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. The position requires use of public spaces as provided by the airport. Restaurant: This position may require frequent exposure to a restaurant or retail operation environment. Regular exposure to varying temperatures (hot/cold/freezing), fumes, vapors, industrial restaurant equipment, noise, and guests will be a common occurrence. The nature of restaurant work requires the Cook to possess certain physical abilities. Those listed here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform this job. Most of the workday is spent standing or walking and working in close proximity to others. Eye-hand coordination, depth perception, finger dexterity, and functional vision and speech perception are required. Some bending, crouching, pushing/pulling and lifting/lowering of 20-50 lbs. WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Airport: This position operates in a climate-controlled international airport environment. The temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public is outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. The position requires use of public spaces as provided by the airport.

Restaurant: This position may require frequent exposure to a restaurant or retail operation environment. Regular exposure to varying temperatures (hot/cold/freezing), fumes, vapors, industrial restaurant equipment, noise, and guests will be a common occurrence.

The nature of restaurant work requires the Cook to possess certain physical abilities. Those listed here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform this job. Most of the workday is spent standing or walking and working in close proximity to others.
