Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and varied shifts
  • Ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hospital standards.
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state and county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the kitchen. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a food service worker or relevant role
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • High school diploma or equivalent, culinary certification and food safety certification preferred
  • Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions
  • High School education or equivalent vocational training or work experience. A minimum of one (1) year of culinary / kitchen experience is required. Work history of a skilled cook under a chef is preferred. ServSafe Certified.
