We are looking for our next Line Cook to join our team at Hilton Los Angeles Airport! The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience working the hot line in a restaurant or hotel restaurant setting, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have open availability. Weekend and holiday availability is a must! The shifts are typically evening shifts, but must be open to work shifts as needed. Hotel experience is a plus! As a Line Cook, you would be responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring quality control for hot food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items including, but not limited to, meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings. Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards. Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times. Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing. Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations. Maintain the Discovery Table and Tasting Bar keeping with visual merchandising guidelines. Replace missing, finished or damaged products and equipment once authorized by a Manager. Maintain correct placement and condition of merchandise on counters, shelves, in stock rooms and all stock holding areas. Inform management of any store maintenance or Health and Safety issues, potential hazards or accidents. Hilton Los Angeles Airport is located off I-405 with SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome, and The Forum located three miles away. Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Pier are within 13 miles. We are looking for our next Line Cook to join our team at Hilton Los Angeles Airport!

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience working the hot line in a restaurant or hotel restaurant setting, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have open availability. Weekend and holiday availability is a must! The shifts are typically evening shifts, but must be open to work shifts as needed. Hotel experience is a plus!

As a Line Cook, you would be responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring quality control for hot food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items including, but not limited to, meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings.

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.

  • Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.

  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.

  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing.

  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.

The hourly rate is $26.41 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location
