The Department of Art and Art History in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Art History to begin August 15, 2026. The department seeks highly qualified candidates working in any field of Art History, but with a focus on the Digital Humanities (DH). We are particularly interested in applicants who can contribute to existing college and university programs in DH, as well as develop new ones The ideal candidate will have a record of teaching experience at the College level and an exceptionally strong, or promising, record of publications.   • During the school year, you will need to be available three or more days a week to work in the afternoon hours.

  • Skateboards, bikes, and rollerskates are fun, but a reliable car of your own is a must.
