Requirements 21+ Years of Age Clear criminal background check through Catholic Mutual Group (CMG) is a condition of employment. Available to work 9:00AM and 10:30AM Mass times, Christmas, Easter and occasionally a holy day of obligation. 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00PM to 8:30PM. 2nd Saturday pf each month from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Active, practicing Roman Catholic (preferred). Required to be on site during working hours. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be present in the parish. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the choir loft/section, as well as maneuver throughout the parish facility to attend meetings, briefings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend meetings or events. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. OPEN POSITIONS:

ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT - $16/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years old (with valid NYS working papers for minors)

  • 1 year experience working with children

GROUP LEADER - $16.43/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED

  • 2 years experience working with children under 13

SITE SUPERVISOR I OR II - $20.74/hour or $21.99/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree, School Age Childcare Credential, or 18 college credits in a related field

  • 2 years experience with children under 13

  • 1 year supervisory experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):

  • Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician's clearance to work in childcare

  • Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community

  • Child Abuse Prevention (Supervisory Staff), CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 30 days of hire)

  • New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday- Friday, 2:30pm/3:00pm- 5:30pm/6:00pm (shift start & end times vary by school location)
