We are seeking a Senior System Tester to conduct comprehensive requirements analysis, software testing, debugging, and performance optimization in support of mission-critical defense applications. This role requires expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies, microservice architectures, cloud computing, and security compliance within DoD environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, and testing for defense applications.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and automated testing strategies within Agile frameworks.
  • Conduct bug fixing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for DoD software systems.
  • Implement configuration management practices ensuring software integrity and compliance.
  • Develop microservice architectures for web and application services, including load balancing, automated surge capability, and performance monitoring.
  • Work with traditional SQL-based and NoSQL database management systems, integrating full-text search capabilities.
  • Implement security controls compliant with Federal and DoD cybersecurity regulations.
  • Automate application deployments, scaling, and management across on-premise and off-premise cloud environments.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and documentation to DoD stakeholders.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of testing methodologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance: TS preferred. 
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting software development and testing within Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong proficiency in Java and scripting languages such as Python.
    • Extensive experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing software performance.
    • Deep knowledge of cloud architectures, microservices, database technologies, and security compliance.
    • Ability to assess and improve test automation strategies for mission-critical defense applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
