The ideal candidate has shipped multiple F2P mobile games in a design role, from concept to live operations. This is an in-office position, located in Kirkland, WA. What You Will Do: Design new gameplay experiences including time-limited events, alternative game modes, and mini-games that add variety and excitement to the core game loop. Pitch and prototype creative concepts that align with player motivations, game themes, and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization across your designs. Build and maintain clear documentation, wireframes, and specs to communicate design intent. Analyze player feedback and data to refine designs and identify opportunities for future content. Stay on top of mobile game trends and competitor features to ensure our game remains fresh and competitive. Who We Think Will be an Excellent Fit: 5+ years of game design experience, with a focus on free-to-play mobile games. Experience designing card-collecting, card-battling, and/or deck-building games is a plus! Bachelor's degree in a related field, and/or comparable, relevant work experience. Expert-level understanding of the mobile game landscape from a game design perspective, including game economies, data analysis, and back-end environments. Working with sick or injured wildlife, removing illegal kills, trapping, and relocating animals, back packing, horseback patrols, loading and unloading, operating boats, snowmobiles, and OHV's, and use of force incidents that require mental composure, verbal communication, and physical skills. Wardens must be in excellent mental condition as they must deal with all types of personalities and stress levels. The warden is required to function in all weather extremes, under adverse working conditions for prolonged patrols and activities. Patrolling often requires sitting for long periods of time in a vehicle. Handling various wildlife and equipment, traversing rough terrain, including water, operating vehicles/vessels at high speeds and under unstable conditions may result in injury. Potentially dangerous interactions with criminals, executing arrests and being subject to assault and to dangerous substances including drugs and bodily fluids is to be expected. Investigations often culminate in the execution of search warrants, suspect interviews, evidence collection and analysis, arrests, citations, preparation of multiple legal documents, reports and testifying in Justice, District, and/or Federal court and can involve multiple suspects and violations. Investigate boating accidents, which many times involve boating under the influence and careless operation, resulting in significant property damage, personal injury and fatalities. Use and access a variety of databases and information. c. Operations: Use established and necessary law enforcement procedures and standards; determine and formulate methods and techniques necessary to be used in resource investigations; organize and conduct saturation law enforcement patrols of high crime or high use areas involving other officers and law enforcement agencies; organize and conduct simulated wildlife operations often involving more than 3 officers and intense, high risk, night-time encounters with multiple suspects; conduct enforcement checking stations on interstates, highways, secondary roadways rivers and lakes to enforce wildlife, fisheries and other FWP and statewide regulations. Respond to various types of wildlife conflicts requiring varying degrees of intervention. As prescribed by statute, keep detailed daily, monthly and yearly records of all activities. Perform collateral duties as directed or desired such as training and instruction. d. Commercial/Inspections: Conduct inspections of commercial businesses regulated by FWP including, but not limited to: taxidermists, game farms, game bird farms, shooting preserves, zoos, menageries, and fishponds. Assign and inspect boat hull identification numbers and vehicle identification numbers (OHV's, snowmobiles, and trailers). e. Education: Possess professional and technical knowledge in each of the department's areas of responsibility: law enforcement; fish, wildlife & parks management; and communications & education to provides educational programs and presentations for water safety, snowmobile safety, OHV safety, and hunter safety to the public, constituents, users, special interest groups, youth groups, schools, universities, local, state, and federal agencies, private business, & non-profit organizations. What We Need:

Cat Daddy is seeking a Game Designer to join our team of artists, engineers, and product managers to collaborate on game feature designs and monetization strategies for free-to-play mobile games. The ideal candidate has shipped multiple F2P mobile games in a design role, from concept to live operations.

This is an in-office position, located in Kirkland, WA.

What You Will Do:

  • Design new gameplay experiences including time-limited events, alternative game modes, and mini-games that add variety and excitement to the core game loop.

  • Pitch and prototype creative concepts that align with player motivations, game themes, and business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization across your designs.

  • Build and maintain clear documentation, wireframes, and specs to communicate design intent.

  • Analyze player feedback and data to refine designs and identify opportunities for future content.

  • Stay on top of mobile game trends and competitor features to ensure our game remains fresh and competitive.

Who We Think Will be an Excellent Fit:

  • 5+ years of game design experience, with a focus on free-to-play mobile games. Experience designing card-collecting, card-battling, and/or deck-building games is a plus!

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, and/or comparable, relevant work experience.

  • Expert-level understanding of the mobile game landscape from a game design perspective, including game economies, data analysis, and back-end environments.

  • World-class communication skills, with proven ability to produce effective design documentation

  • A great teammate who can collaborate with engineers and artists on game development.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company's discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
