Job Title: Combat Vehicle Tester (CVT) I Classification: Union-2424 Job Description: Dalcom Engineering, partnering with TRAX International, is seeking a Combat Vehicle Tester (CVT) I, to support our Nation's Warfighter for Aberdeen Test Support Services (ATSS) at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC). Under the direction of more qualified personnel, performs a variety of tasks associated with testing track or wheeled combat vehicles to include operating and maintaining vehicles, weapons, systems, and communication equipment while supporting firing programs and test missions, on and off test courses and firing ranges. Duties and Responsibilities Tasks may be manual and/or mechanical in nature and support testing combat vehicle systems, weapons, ammunition, armor, and related equipment. Under the direction of more qualified personnel, performs operator level preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) as well as any other operator level maintenance in accordance with appropriate/approved test plans, manuals, policies, and regulations. Under the direction of more qualified personnel and in accordance with operator level manuals troubleshoots, diagnoses, and documents power plants, auxiliary power units, engines, transmissions, suspension components, electrical/electronic systems and components, communications equipment, basic fire control systems, turret traversing mechanisms, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, fire extinguisher/suppression systems, gas particulate systems and any like or related items in accordance with test objectives. Under the direction of more qualified personnel, performs or assists with unit level maintenance in accordance with appropriate/approved test plans, manuals, policies, and regulations. Under the direction of more qualified personnel, installs and operates sensitive data collection instrumentation, vehicle system training simulators/devices, and/or maintains equipment necessary to collect, process, store or obtain test related data in accordance with appropriate test plans, manuals, policies, and regulations. Effectively operates combat vehicle computers, software, and other related technology. Identifies, documents, and communicates test related and/or abnormal conditions in an appropriate format and timely manner. Provides on-the-job training, technical advice and assistance to various government agencies and peers as required. Under the direction of more qualified personnel, develops, analyzes and provides technical input as required for documentation and training. Works, coordinates, and collaborates with others in a professional manner to accomplish testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of combat vehicles and equipment. Actively participates to ensure personal safety, team safety, visitor safety, and end user safety in accordance with policy, standard operating procedures, and locally identified hazard mitigation requirements. Pay Rate: $40.19/hour Required Skills and Qualifications Must have 3 yr. applicable experience or have completed formal training relevant to operating, maintaining, and/or testing combat vehicles and associated relevant weapon components or systems. At least 1yr. of the 3 yr. of experience must be in a test and evaluation range, laboratory, or military environment. Must possess a valid Class B CDL within 1 year of employment. Must possess an Ammunition Certification Level I in accordance with ATC Regulation 350-8 within 6 months of employment. Physical Qualifications The work of this position is performed in the field where you are subject to the environment and sometimes in an environmentally controlled office environment. Must be capable of squatting, crouching, standing, climbing, stooping, and sitting, sometimes for extended periods while performing duties. Must be capable of climbing up and into large vehicles up to 10 feet high. Must be able to ascend and descend equipment. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned. Position Summary:

Cybersecurity Traditional Penetration Tester located at Eglin AFB, FL, will help form and manage multi-skilled test team members and efforts to conduct system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities.

This position provides support to the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL, and the DOD Cybersecurity community, to plan and conduct Cybersecurity Developmental and Operational Test & Evaluation for major DoD programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Bachelor's degree, or additional years of qualifying experience
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience, or additional years' experience for degree substitution
  • An active Secret security clearance is required for consideration, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 certification (CSSP/CASP+) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M DoD 8570 directives required within the first six months of employment
  • Job experience in Aircraft, Weapon, Cloud, and/or Traditional Internet Protocol system architectures/ avionics
  • Passionate about cybersecurity and delivering test reports that exceed expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, analytical and problem-solving skills, organization and decision-making skills, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with industry cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
