The Onsite Lead Tester is responsible for the overall quality of their language at an account level, as well as the main point of contact for Language Leads. Welocalize is offering a unique opportunity for those who enjoy a combination of linguistic and technical work. We are seeking a Hungarian Lead Tester / Proofreader for a project in Cupertino, CA. We need your native level fluency skills combined with strong technical skills.
The Onsite Lead Tester is responsible for the overall quality of their language at an account level, as well as the main point of contact for Language Leads.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership for this role:
• Linguistic tasks
• Coordination of the linguistic team, like for example:
- Reviews copy and gives feedback to testers; communicates feedback received from the client
- Supports testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process
- Acts as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features & questions
- Supports the onboarding of new testers
- Identifies linguistic-specific training needs for the language; creates, maintains, and delivers the linguistic training program
• Quality management planning and execution
• Client engagement
• Linguistic assets management
