EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A technical degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field preferred, or a high school diploma with a minimum of three years of experience related to mechanical, HPL, and/or electrical assembly of industrial machinery. Ability to assemble both mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches. Pay range: $20 - $26/hr

Job Description: We are seeking soil and concrete Field Technicians in Centennial, CO. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of standard test methods and experience performing construction-related soils, asphalt, and concrete tests typically performed by a field technician. This role involves both field and laboratory work, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site construction quality control services, including soils, asphalt, and concrete testing.
  • Perform standard test methods to ensure materials meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain field and laboratory data files.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of testing equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding test results and project requirements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in on-site construction quality control services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Preferred: Radiation safety certification and ACI Field Tech 1 certification.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
