What We Need: Cat Daddy is seeking a Game Designer to join our team of artists, engineers, and product managers to collaborate on game feature designs and monetization strategies for free-to-play mobile games. The ideal candidate has shipped multiple F2P mobile games in a design role, from concept to live operations. This is an in-office position, located in Kirkland, WA. What You Will Do: Design new gameplay experiences including time-limited events, alternative game modes, and mini-games that add variety and excitement to the core game loop. Pitch and prototype creative concepts that align with player motivations, game themes, and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization across your designs. Build and maintain clear documentation, wireframes, and specs to communicate design intent. Analyze player feedback and data to refine designs and identify opportunities for future content. Stay on top of mobile game trends and competitor features to ensure our game remains fresh and competitive. Who We Think Will be an Excellent Fit: 5+ years of game design experience, with a focus on free-to-play mobile games. Experience designing card-collecting, card-battling, and/or deck-building games is a plus! Bachelor's degree in a related field, and/or comparable, relevant work experience. Expert-level understanding of the mobile game landscape from a game design perspective, including game economies, data analysis, and back-end environments. World-class communication skills, with proven ability to produce effective design documentation A great teammate who can collaborate with engineers and artists on game development. Benefits: Employee discounts Flexible schedule Full job description As a game master with WhirlyBall / Enigma Adventures, your responsibilities will include: Welcoming new players when they arrive at the facility Introducing players to the escape room they will be playing Providing those players with clues and hints as they progress through the room Resetting the room's puzzles in preparation for the next group of players We are located in Bloomington, MN, right next to the Mall of America. We are looking to add one new game master who can start immediately. Game masters at Enigma Adventures are typically scheduled for three shifts per week (~20 hours per week), with a rotating schedule. During holiday periods and occasional special periods, this expands to four or five shifts per week. As an entertainment business, we are busiest during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Availability during these time periods is required. Punctuality and dependability are of utmost importance. Experience as an escape room game master is a plus, but not required. Key Responsibilities: Check customers in, take payments, and make reservations Brief new groups prior to the start of the game; Monitor customers in the gaming area and provide explanations if necessary; Participating with customers in active games if needed to ensure customers have an excellent experience; Maintain the rooms by cleaning, painting, and any required maintenance; Troubleshoot, identify, and make minor repairs in the event of a malfunction; Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations in a calm and efficient manner Must be a people person - energetic, friendly, and outgoing, with the ability to command attention in a crowd.
