POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Gators Ticket Office is seeking hardworking, positive, and passionate individuals that are interested in gaining ticket operations experience within Collegiate Athletics. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency of ticketing software and will be expected to accurately and efficiently process orders. This position is a part-time/game day position and assists the event day supervisor in one or more of the following areas: Ticket Sales/Customer Service, Will Call, Players Guest, Ticket Scanning, or other game day duties. Game Managers in Training The Athletic and Fitness Center is seeking a responsible individual with an interest in athletics and event operations to assist with game day management for Chatham University's sports. The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position includes, but is not limited to, operating scoreboards, learning in-game recordkeeping, and assisting with various event operations, as well as other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities in the Position: Attention to detail is imperative. Work the clock at sports such as soccer, volleyball, and hockey. Willingness to learn and perform essential in-game skills such as the book in basketball. Ability to be trained in skilled positions such as line judge in volleyball and scoresheet in hockey. Adhering to a dress code that includes khaki, or khaki material pants and an AFC issued shirt. Assist the game supervisor in any other capacity. Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor for this position. Student staff must participate in online and in person training sessions provided by the Career Development Office. The position is in-person and hours vary per week depending on availability in relation to building hours. Nights and weekends are required. You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester. There is a dress code/uniform that will be required for this position. All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year. COMPENSATION RANGE; $18.00+/hour. Pay consists of a base hourly rate plus a % of tip share. PICKLEBALL COURT & GAME ATTENDANT; Our Court & Game Attendants will assist with the day-to-day operations of our indoor/outdoor Pickleball, Game and Ice Rink zones. You will assist customers with scheduling court times, equipment rental or purchases and educate members on our facility operations. You will also assist with oversight of our outdoor game area, ensure the safety and security of our ice rink operations during the winter season and provide exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business! PICKLEBALL COURT & GAME ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets, schedules court time and assists members in a friendly and professional manner. Explains all Pickleball programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs. Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members. Assists in ensuring all pickleball facilities, game areas and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition. Provides exceptional service to customers within their designated area. Collects payment for services and products and reconciles the cash register at the end of a shift. Assists with ice rink safety & security during seasonal operation of the ice rink; must know how to ice skate efficiently. Operate and maintain the Zamboni for ice rink preparation and maintenance. PICKLEBALL COURT & GAME ATTENDANT QUALIFICATIONS: Previous customer service or sales experience CPR and AED Certified within the first 30 days of hire Ability to provide exceptional customer service to guests Able to diffuse and problem solve member/guest issues Outgoing, extroverted personality! Positive attitude! Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours) Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 25 pounds
