Performs other job related duties and special projects as required. Supervisory Responsibilities None Education and Experience Six months or less of similar or related work experience. Enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy and registered with State Pharmacy Board as an intern. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics Must have the ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems; several abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to compose original correspondence; follow technical manuals; have increased contact with people; interview counsel or advise people; evaluate technical data. Have the ability to do arithmetic calculations involving arithmetic, algebraic and geometric calculations. Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirements include clarity of vision at distances of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet, and field of vision. The following physical activity is necessary to perform this job: Fingering, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, lifting, stooping, and reaching. Working Conditions Frequent exposure to noise on a daily basis. This position frequently involves a fast work pace in a retail store setting. Must be able to handle multiple tasks (filling scripts, answering telephone, waiting on customers, etc.) every day. There is an occasional exposure to dangerous chemicals/solvents. Equipment Used to Perform Job PC with pharmacy software and printer, Parata Express, Gladiator Hand-held unit, pharmacy balance, scanner, calculator, telephone, fax, and copier. Financial Responsibility Is fully responsible for company assets including prescription inventory, third party accounts receivable, pharmacy computer and software, and pharmacy fixtures. Contacts Has daily contact with pharmacy operations support staff and customers. Has occasional contact with general public, and suppliers/vendors, community or trade/professional organizations and federal/state governmental or regulatory agencies. Confidentiality Maintains the confidentiality of the customer's private medical information according to the HIPAA act. Maintains the confidentiality of prescription drug pricing and costs. The Assistant Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire front-end of store. Ollie's ATL Ollie's ATL helps lead a retail sales team that's passionate about selling merchandise and ensures a good customer experience. Responsibilities include Associate development, customer service, asset protection and store maintenance. Primary Responsibilities: Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and the timely completion of related reports to ensure financial and operational goals are met. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1-2 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasonal on a regular basis Must have a valid Driver's license Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
