Cashier/Customer Service
Bald Head Coffee Co.+ Market Nubb's Lobster Shack Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Openings
In this role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the counter greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and making sure every experience is personal and excellent.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a smile and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the register and handle payments (cash, card, digital) with care
- Answer questions about the menu and make thoughtful suggestions
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and condiment station clean and stocked
- Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy periods
- Assist with light food prep or drink handoff as needed
- Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally
Requirements:
- Previous customer service or cashier experience is a plus—but not required
- Friendly, upbeat personality and great communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Passion for coffee, food, and great service
