Job Description: Warehouse Floater Duties and Responsibilities: Be able to adequately operate any of the warehouse equipment or job requirements in the warehouse operation. These will be determined by supervisor. Adapt quickly and effectively to the various assigned positions to maintain efficiency of production line. Be responsible for changeovers, restart or adjust machinery and troubleshoot. Must be able to look ahead while working. Any other duties or responsibilities which may be assigned by the supervisor. Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating and helping co-workers. Effective cross-departmental communication. Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager. Depending on site needs, the Warehouse Coordinator may handle any combination of receiving, shipping, scheduling & dispatching or focus exclusively on one of these functions. Essential Job Functions: Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts). Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF). Job Description: Warehouse Floater

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Be able to adequately operate any of the warehouse equipment or job requirements in the warehouse operation. These will be determined by supervisor.
  2. Adapt quickly and effectively to the various assigned positions to maintain efficiency of production line.
  3. Be responsible for changeovers, restart or adjust machinery and troubleshoot.
  4. Must be able to look ahead while working.
  5. Any other duties or responsibilities which may be assigned by the supervisor.
  6. Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift.
  7. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating and helping co-workers.
  8. Effective cross-departmental communication.

Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Be proficient on job after the required hours of training for added compensation.
  • Must be able to drive forklift/ OSHA tested and licensed in all positions.
  • Must be able to retain job skills over long periods of time without operating the particular equipment.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to look and work ahead.
  • Able to operate all britestackers
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Must be a communicator as well as a listener. Must be able to read, write and speak clearly in English.

Schedule: 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am 
                8-hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business
                Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed.

Please Note: If hired you will need to train on 1st shift for up to 2 weeks with a trainer.

Salary: Up to $22.06 per hour
