In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw. Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time( 8- 10 hours ) Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, always adhering to company safety procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs, with hand-eye coordination and endurance. Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of previous experience with handheld power tools in a work setting. 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PALLET REPAIR OPERATORS

  • Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets.
  • In a repair department places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place.
  • In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
  • Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time( 8- 10 hours )
  • Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, always adhering to company safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs, with hand-eye coordination and endurance.
  • Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of previous experience with handheld power tools in a work setting.
  • 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.
     

SCHEDULES

  • 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
