Position Overview

Shegerian & Associates is seeking Law Clerks to join our Team. This position offers hands-on litigation experience for law students interested in plaintiff-side employment law. Law clerks work closely with experienced attorneys on substantive assignments that directly impact active cases, gaining exposure to all phases of employment litigation in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current law student in good academic standing ( 1L, 2L, or 3L)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Interest in plaintiff-side employment law and litigation
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and edit discovery responses, including interrogatories and requests for production
• Assist in preparing mediation briefs and supporting documentation
• Conduct legal research related to California labor and employment law
• Draft motions to compel, oppositions, and supporting legal memoranda
• Support attorneys with case preparation as needed
