Job Description

- Monday–Thursday | 2:45–4:15 PM – Beginning Orchestra (on site)
- In-home private music lessons after orchestra classes (schedule coordinated with families)
- $40/hour starting rate
- Dental and health insurance options

- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: Prior teaching experience required; orchestra or ensemble leadership a plus
- Teaching Style: Ability to tailor instruction to each student while meeting program goals
- Classroom Management: Skilled at maintaining an organized, respectful, and focused learning environment
- Lesson Planning: Able to design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans for both group and private instruction
- Professionalism: Timely, reliable, and consistent—committed to long-term student growth
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, encouraging, and able to connect with students and families
- Mindset: Loves teaching and sees it as a long-term career path; values collaboration with colleagues
